The Great Goddess Kunda

Thousands of years ago the supreme deity was not a God but a Goddess. Referred to by slightly different names in different cultures, she was known as Kunda or Kunti in Asia, and Cunina or Cunnus in Europe. She was generally depicted with capaciously large, sexually aroused genitals—and so by association the vagina became known by the same name. This survives to the present day in the English word “cunt”. Many New Agers believe the word was deliberately made into a “curse word” by the Powers That Be in order to toxify the memory of the Great Goddess.
